Terms of Use

Effective October 31, 2026

1. Who we are

Macintosh Regional League, Inc., a Massachusetts non-profit corporation ("the League", "we", "us") runs this website at www.macleague.org, including its member area and the pages it shows its teams, families and volunteers (together, "the Site"). The Site runs on League Manager, a service American True Merit, LLC provides to the League.

2. Agreeing to these Terms

By using the Site, or by creating or using an account on it, you agree to these Terms of Use and to the League's Privacy Policy. If you register a child or manage a child's information, you agree to these Terms for that child too. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

3. Accounts

An account is for one adult. A parent or legal guardian creates and manages the account through which a player under 18 is registered, and is responsible for the information given for them. Keep your sign-in details to yourself and tell us at once if you think someone else has used your account. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these Terms or the League's policies.

4. Children's information

Players are registered by a parent or guardian, who provides and keeps up to date the child's information and agrees to its use for running the League as the Privacy Policy describes.

5. Registrations, fees and refunds

Where the Site takes registrations, each program's own details apply: who may take part, its dates, its fees and the League's Refund Policy. Where the Site offers payment, the payment is handled by the payment provider named when you pay, under its own terms; the League does not keep card numbers.

6. Using the Site

Use the Site for League purposes and treat others with respect. Do not post or send anything unlawful, threatening, harassing or hateful; pretend to be someone else; share another person's personal information or pictures without their permission (or, for a child, their parent's); try to reach parts of the Site or other people's information you are not allowed to see; or interfere with the Site, copy it by automated means or use it to send spam.

7. What you post

You keep ownership of the messages, pictures and other content you post on the Site, such as on a team's feed. You allow the League to show, store and copy that content on the Site, and in the League's own communications, for League purposes. The League may remove content that breaks these Terms or its policies. Follow the League's policies on photographs and on conduct when you post.

8. League policies

Taking part in the League is also governed by the other policies the League publishes on the Site, such as its codes of conduct, waivers and safety policies. Where one of them conflicts with these Terms on taking part in a program, that policy applies.

9. Volunteers, coaches and umpires

Before volunteering, coaching or umpiring, you may be asked to complete the screening and training required by law or by League policy. The League decides who may serve in each role.

10. Emails and notifications

The Site sends notices about your account, registrations, schedules and the teams you are part of, by email and in the Site. You can change some of these choices in your settings. Notices needed to run your account, such as a sign-in link or a password reset, are always sent.

11. The Site as it is

Volunteers keep the Site's schedules, scores, standings and other information up to date as well as they can, but they may change and may contain mistakes, and the Site may sometimes be unavailable. The Site is provided as it is, without promises beyond those these Terms make.

12. Limit of responsibility

As far as the law allows, the League and its volunteers are not responsible for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the Site. Nothing in these Terms limits a responsibility that the law does not allow to be limited. The risks of taking part in League activities are dealt with by the League's waivers, not by these Terms.

13. Changes to these Terms

The League may change these Terms. It will tell account holders of a change before it takes effect, by email and with a notice on the Site, and keeps each earlier version. Using the Site after a change takes effect means you accept the new Terms.

14. Closing your account

You may stop using the Site at any time and ask us to close your account by writing to us. Records the League must keep, such as registrations and payments, are kept as the Privacy Policy describes.

15. Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.

16. Contact and notices

Questions about these Terms can be sent to info@macleague.org. Written notices to the League go to: Macintosh Regional League, Inc., a Massachusetts non-profit corporation, at the email address above.
